Frank Payne, Sensei

Franklin W. Payne is a Rokudan (Sixth Degree Black Belt) in Kodokan Judo via the United States Judo Association, of which he is a life member.  He is also a Certified National Master Examiner for the United States Judo Association.  He is a Renshi Rokudan Shihan in Yoshitsune Jiu-Jitsu via the International Federation of Jujutsuans. 
 
For over thirty years he has been the chief instructor of Bushido Florida Dojo in Miami, Florida, for most of that time through the Community School program of the Dade County Public School System, and currently at a private dojo at:  12960 S.W. 122nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, where he has taught judo and jiu-jitsu.  He is currently still teaching Youshitsune Jiu-Jitsu at this location on Monday and Wednesday nights from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to individuals sixteen years and older. 
 
Frank Payne is well known in the South Florida martial arts community, having taught for years, officiated in tournaments, hosted and taught clinics and seminars, and represented the martial arts in AAU national conventions and published articles in several international martial arts magazines.  He has been featured in WHO'S WHO IN THE MARTIAL ARTS ELITE, and he has been inducted into the WORLD MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAME.
